Requested Photo Post

I am posting this photo of myself at the request of my good friend Diane. She noticed in reading the blog that dad didn't want to eat and then reminded me of my own picky food tastes. It is very true. I am a fussy eater. The photo is of me on a recent trip to Diane's B&B in Canada where I blew off a delightful breakfast to go enjoy a baquette from the local bakery. The lesson here is that we all control our own food intake and dad is no different. This is one decision he can make for himself (and believe me there aren't many that he can make at this point) The nurse explained yesterday that whether he eats or not will make little or no difference in his condition.

Mom reports that they both had a pretty good night. They both got some sleep. She wasn't sure if she could handle it by herself but she did a great job. Dad tried to get up once without calling her so she scolded him and told him that now was not the time to fall down and break a hip and end up in the hospital. Looks like a large gathering is scheduled for tonight with Chad and family in town from Florida.
