Dad had a very busy day yesterday. He was pretty wiped out last night and went to bed at 8pm and wasn't really interested in the Vikings game. Good thing since they got whipped. Haven't talked to mom this morning so not sure how the night went. Didn't want to call and wake them up. Posting a few more photos of the Mieska boys and Zac the new farmer. He went out round baling yesterday and did a great job. There is also a photo of Steve the barber giving dad a mustache trim. Thanks to all who have emailed and posted comments.

Very handsome bunch of fellows there! I see Annie slaving away in the kitchen ... or was she just grabbing a carrot stick to munch on or ...?
Wishing you all another good day. With Chad's family arriving I'm sure it will be. love, Rynda
Greetings from Bloomfield Ontario. The Mieska clan - Marland & LaVerne, Sue & Julie, Annie & Jeff, my new email pal Peggy and all the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Your family ties and celebration of all that life offers is an inspiration.
You've raised a great family, Marland and LaVerne, and I'm especially grateful that you brought my friend Sue into this world. It's wonderful that she puts her talents into projects like this blog - so helpful to those of us who are far away. Reading her notes about your disinterest in eating, Marland, reminds me that Sue can be selective in her eating habits, don't you think? My bed and breakfast menu didn't sway her from enjoying simply a refreshing glass of H2O to start the day. Later in the morning she'd walk into the village for a baguette which she enjoyed ala carte, on the hoof. I do hope she posts the photo I sent her.
Warm regards to all of you - you're amazing. Diane and Bruce
