I overslept
We woke dad up today around 8am and he said "I overslept". He got into his jogging suit and has been sitting out in the living room ever since. He doesn't eat, but still drinks a little water. He had some coffee and a cookie that cousin Rynda brought down. Phyllis and Rynda were here this morning and the Graff's and Johnson's stopped by this afternoon. I'm going to post some photos of the events of today.

Mom and I were glad we got out to visit this morning. So good to see everyone -- especially Marland looking sharp in his jogging suit. He's always been my best-dressed uncle.
I did note that Sue is actually in some of these photos ... wearing shades though!
John and I are planning to swing by for a visit tomorrow afternoon. See you then!

To all of the Mieska family, I just checked your website. You,re a very close family. It is so nice to see the way you all help out and spend time with your dad,husband,grandfather. He is a special person. I always think of him as an optimist. He,s done his best to live with cancer. I think hospice is such a good service. It helps one accept their illness and live with it until one can't any longer. My heart is with you all. I liked all the photos. Take care of yourselves. My love to all of you.
