We are still waiting for the MRI results. I don't know what the hold up is other than the medical community is not always coordinated enough to get things done in a timely manner. I'll post as soon as we know more.
Mom reports he had a bath today and she shaved his face so he looks like a human being again. He's still "ornry" as mom describes. He has no pain that he reports but still won't eat. They did get him to drink some kind of nutrious hot liquid that seemed to go down pretty good. He says thinking of food makes him gag and he has no interest in eating. Judy says it is best not to push the food too hard as that will just make him angry. Food intake is one of the very few things he can control in this uncontrollable situation so many patiens use that to show themsevles that they are still in control. I remember feeling that way when I went through chemo. I even had a friend who said she didn't wear her seatbelt while she was having chemo treatment because it was one decision she could make without anyone nagging her or telling her what to do. Well, that's my 2 cents for the day.
