Ct scan results

The results from the CT scan confirm the pnenemonia and show the belly and other stuff is ok. That is good news because they are already treating the pnenemonia. They did an MRI of the brain about an hour ago and we should know more later. They suspect that their may be some swelling in the brain. If there is they can effectively treat that with the same meds as before. The local dr's are in touch with Dr. Flynn (oncologist)so he is monitoring the results and will recommomend the next step. Dad is still in the hospital and seems a little more alert today. He is complaining about the treatment at the hospital so he must be in a little better spirit. He wouldn't even talk yesterday. He still won't eat much. He tells the nurse to get out when the food arrives. Judy did give him some sherbert and he ate that. Mostly because Judy (nurse) gave it to him. He is always on his best behavior when she is in the room. I'll post the MRI results when we get them. I will say I see a tiny improvment in his condition today. Thank goodness because it was getting a little scary to see him so down. He's still down, but at least today he is talking a little bit even if it is only to complain. It's better than nothing.
