Dad spent some time in the ER again last night. He had terrible back pain and couldn't stand it any longer so at about 10:30 last night Jeff drove them to the ER. The Dr. gave him a shot of morphine, a shot of anti-nasuea meds and some Vicadin. He was still sleeping this morning at 8:30. He has an appointment for a CT scan on Tuesday that was already scheduled so they might do that earlier if Dr. Flynn wants to push it up by a day. It was his 9th day after chemo which is the same time he got sick after the last round of chemo. His counts are very low and he has very little reisitance to infection or pain.
If you want to send a message to him you can click on the "comments" line after any of the posts and I'll make sure he gets the message. I know he likes hearing from people.

Hi Marland,
So sorry to hear that the chemo is roughing you up. I am glad that you went and got something for the pain last night. We will continue to think and pray for you in the days ahead.
love,
Rynda and John
You are too handsome! But it's not the hair, it's that smile! No wonder you felt better--morphine and Vicodin! That's quite a cocktail!
We love you and are praying for you every day!
