Dad had his port-a-cath put in yesterday and it was uneventful. He went in early in the morning and was home by late afternoon. This port will make the chemo infusions much easier to administer and to get.
His next round of chemo is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. He just misses having chemo on his birthday which is Friday. Steve and Peggy are driving up next weekend for his birthday party and most of the rest of the family will be there too.
