Update on Dad 1/31/06
I just spoke with Dad's chemo nurse (Judy) and she reports that the port-a-cath is "beautiful". It is in a good spot and had excellent blood return. It will be very useful for his treatments. Today is the first day of the 3rd round of chemo. He'll have another tomorrow and again Thursday. Then he'll be 1/2 way through the chemo treatments!! Dr. Christianson (his regular doctor) stopped in to see him today while he was getting chemo and told dad that he was looking good and he thought the treatments were doing their intended job. There will no doubt be some rough days again after Thursday, but I think it will be manageable.

On a side note, I'd like to order some more livestrong bracelets because I've broke or given away all of mine. Let me know if anyone is interested, but I'll probably just order a 10 pack.
