Happy Valentine's Day on Thursday,
The Super Bowl is over and the best team won. It was a great game to watch. Would you believe that Giants quarterback!!! I watched it all alone and enjoyed every minute of it.
Monday I attended the ladies 18 hole Spring Fling. I even won a prize. A glass hummingbird which I hung on my patio door and a hot pepper bowl. Nice. I'm not usually lucky but this time I was.
Tuesday I had lunch with Gary & Aline Kranz and Larry & Sara Walters. We went to a sports bar and had buffalo wings. Aline has recovered from her surgery so is feeling much better.
Wednesday I bought a ticket from a neighbor who is a billiard player. They were serving hamburgers and beans so all the street people were there.
Thursday was The Choraliers gave a singing concert in the ball room and I helped put away chairs after the concert.
Friday was the annual Softball hamburger feed in the ball room. They fed 950 people and then had a dance. Guess I've had enough hamburgers for a while!!
Saturday I went to a church meeting and then watched the ball team play 2 games. They lost both of them!!!
Today was church and then more softball. Tonight I'm invited to dinner to one of Marland's softball buddies home. Dale and Marland were "brothers"! That's a story too long to tell!!
Next week I'm looking forward to a concert in our park--"The Nelson Twins". Ricky Nelson's twin sons. That will be a good one.
