Hi It's February already!!!
Today is the first day of February--time is going fast. Tuesday would have been Marland's 81st birthday. He always liked to celebrate so I'll do it for him this year!!
Last Sunday afternoon, I went to see the movie, "Frost/Nixon". The actor who played Nixon did a very good job. That night I watched the "Hallmark Hall of Fame" movie on TV and that was very good also.
Not much happened this week. I had lunch with Sue Henley and Shirley Knowlton at Shirley's house. We caught up on news from last year. Sue has moved over to Sun City West so we don't see her very often.
Thursday evening I attended another concert at the ball room. It was 2 comedians who were very good. They also played fiddles and could they ever play!!!
Today is the "Super Bowl" and the whole state of Arizona is caught up in the excitement. For those of you who don't know--The Arizona Cardinals are playing in it. Local TV has been pumped!! May the best team win.
Jesse & Ben arrive in 11 more days!! I'm excited about that.
Next week may be more interesting--we'll see!
