It's Sunday and it's raining. It rained for 2 hours during the night and now it's raining again. I went to church and got home just before the rain started. Guess it's a day where I'll finish the book I'm reading. It's about a young girl who lost her father and is riding in a wagon train with a man and his 2 children. Oh! the hardships they put up with. Young people today could not fathom what those people of that time endured. It's a good read.
This week a attended a play at the Broadway Palms dinner theatre. It was "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas".. It was funny.
On Thursday I entertained at a cocktail party. I invited 4 couples and we had a good visit. I needed to do some pay back.
Friday evening was the annual Softball Hamburger Feed. It was sponsored by all the guys that play softball and they served over 900 people. Good food and good fun. The dance followed but I didn't stay for that.
Today is the annual Minnesota picnic. That is always a big crowd. Minnesota has more people represented in the park than any other state except Washington.
Jesse & Ben arrive this next Thursday. I will be at the airport to meet them and I hope the weather will co-operate. It won't be as warm as I had hoped. The forecast is for 65 degrees so hope that is correct.
I probably won't be writing a blog next Sunday cause I'll be too busy with my company.
