Home from the Hospital

Dad came home from the hosptial late yesterday afternoon. He is required to have an oxygen tank and stay on the oxygen 24 hours a day. You can imagine how pleased he is to have a 50 foot tube attached to the tank and try to wander around the house. Let's just say he is anxious to get better so he can get rid of the oxygen.

Way to go, dad! You are rapidly racking up every possible scenario and complication. When you tell of your whole ordeal, and you will, you will have such great stories to tell your friends about your experiences. They will not be bored with your stories of how well you got through everything, oh no, they will be on pins and needles hearing of all the awful details and how you reacted to each one!! Congrats!! Glad to hear you are home, Marland, even though you are tethered to the oxygen tank.

Look for me on any TV coverage of Kirby Puckett's memorial service Sunday night. I'm planning to go, for Grandpa, for Casey, and to recognize the special role Kirby and the Twins played in our lives a few years back.
