Prayers for Ami's sister
Below is an update that Jill sent out today about her and the baby.
Thanks to everyone for all of their prayers and thoughts that have been directed to my sister and my new niece. It makes me feel so good to have people surrounding me who care so much about my family.
The doctor's were more concerned with Jill's health today because her body has been under such distress but see no reason to deliver her for now. Please continue to pray for the two of them.
First of all, Ryan and I want to thank everyone for all of the prayers and positive thoughts you’ve been sending our way. We truly believe in the power of prayer and know that the baby and I are still stable because of it. Secondly, we wanted to give everyone a quick update on our progress. I had a second ultrasound today to track the baby’s growth and development. Ryan and I just met with the High Risk Team and were given a great report! The baby is just over 3lbs now and while her abdomen is still a little small, it has shown growth over the past two weeks. At this point they see no reason to deliver me. The doctors are going to continue to monitor me closely, but are very optimistic that I can carry this little girl a while longer. In addition to the prayers, we appreciate all the flowers, cards, visitors, food, gifts, dvds, magazines, etc. We are spoiled to have so many people in our lives looking to help out in any way they can. Master
Jesse graduated on Saturday with a Master's Degree. Hooray for the hard work and dedication that she has portrayed. Looks like there is a proud mom and grandma standing by.

Whitney's Grandmother
Whitney's Grandmother, Myrna Nordlund, died this afternoon at 4:33 CST. Our prayers are with all of them at this sad time. I am planning to send flowers so let me know if you want to go in on it. I'll get something like a live plant and mix in some fresh flowers. I can sign the card from all of us.

There has been no change to Myrna's condition as of this morning. Her breathing is still labored and she continues to be on hourly doses of morphine.
She still has her sense of humor and is cracking jokes to the family whenever she can. That's classic Myrna! :-)

Grandma is still trucking along, showing what a tough girl she still is. Her breathing has gotten a little heavier, but other than that there are no changes to her condition.
Rick is reading her the messages from here several times a day so be sure to leave a message on the guestbook. She would love to hear from you!!

Myrna had a better night last night. However, she is having trouble breathing. She is being given morphine each hour, which is making her comfortable. We believe she is nearing the end.

Myrna had a rough night last night. Her and Rudy didn't sleep much, and required the help of her family members to take care of her. She is having some pain, and is taking medication in the hopes of relieving that pain. She would love to hear from you so please leave a message for her and Rudy in the guestbook section!

Somebody is pregnant
there is going to be another mieska in the family sometime in january!!!gina and i just found out this week we are going to be having another baby...( naturally, gina will be having the baby, but i will be there for sure!!!)i talked to grandma tonight and told her already, but we wanted to share the great news with everyone.also if you could add a little note for prayers for my mom, she hasn't had a very good week this week, every prayer helps.thanks for the help and we'll be heading up north in the next couple of weeks for sure, gina's brother and sister in law are due to have their baby this coming week.hope you have a great week, and had a great time on the walk today. i hope my mom can have the hope, strength, and courage you have shown, and continue to show.take care, we miss you all.jere
