Prayers for Ami's sister

Below is an update that Jill sent out today about her and the baby.

Thanks to everyone for all of their prayers and thoughts that have been directed to my sister and my new niece. It makes me feel so good to have people surrounding me who care so much about my family.

The doctor's were more concerned with Jill's health today because her body has been under such distress but see no reason to deliver her for now. Please continue to pray for the two of them.


First of all, Ryan and I want to thank everyone for all of the prayers and positive thoughts you’ve been sending our way. We truly believe in the power of prayer and know that the baby and I are still stable because of it. Secondly, we wanted to give everyone a quick update on our progress. I had a second ultrasound today to track the baby’s growth and development. Ryan and I just met with the High Risk Team and were given a great report! The baby is just over 3lbs now and while her abdomen is still a little small, it has shown growth over the past two weeks. At this point they see no reason to deliver me. The doctors are going to continue to monitor me closely, but are very optimistic that I can carry this little girl a while longer. In addition to the prayers, we appreciate all the flowers, cards, visitors, food, gifts, dvds, magazines, etc. We are spoiled to have so many people in our lives looking to help out in any way they can.
