I had a blackberry for many years. I loved it. I knew how to use it and it treated me well. It did everything I wanted it to do and I was happy.
Then, we dropped our blackberry server and I had to get an iPhone. Very sad. Not a big fan of Steve Jobs (sounds cruel now that he is dead, but I didn't like him)
I spent weeks trying to adapt to my iPhone. I didn't love it.
Now I feel better about it. The iPhone can do tricks the blackberry can't. One thing I hated about the iPhone at first was that it didn't have a flashing red light when I had a new email and it is difficult to turn the email notice vibrator on and off so I just keep it off. Well, who knew those blinking red lights and vibrating email alerts casued me stress? Well, they did. I can't explain it other than I have less anxiety about email and check it when I think of it instead of everytime I see a red light or feel a vibration. Who knew? I probaly no longer reply instantly to messages, but no one has complained so far. I get at least 100 emails a day and since no one complained I guess it's ok. You can teach an old dog new tricks.
