The Phone number is gone....
I finally got rid of my land line. It's the end of 507-645-4312. The Mieska family has had that phone number since around 1969. 40+ years and now it is no longer our number. First mom and dad had that number and then I took it when I moved to Northfield 20+ years ago. Wow, that's a LONG time. In a few years kids will ask "what's a land line"? LOL.

Not to date myself...but before that number there was 94R...and before that 2 longs and a short ring on the old party line...yikes, I'm old!
This is indeed a solemn moment. That number has been with me my whole life. This is almost as big as when mom lost 645-5439. Do you remember when we only had to dial 5-4312? Funny. Quick, now...what was the number at the Steer?
