We had dinner at mom's last night to celebrate her return from Arizona and also Josh's birthday. The photos show you what a good time we had. We played a new game that called for some serious physical ability. We also baked some spritz cookies. A good time was had by all.

Looking at all the cooks there, log onto FergusFallsDailyJournal.com (I think), and read Alli Myhre's new column on food (Dec. 17). Selections from an old Stock cookbook, with LaVerne's name on the bottom of the page, for one of her recipes. It was interesting.
I'm hanging out in Southern CA; can't say "sunny", as yesterday it rained most of the day, and it's funny how the weather people keep talking about the "winter storm". I guess there was snow in the mountains, however.
I'm organizing Darla's cupboards (she likes being organized, but her cupboards don't show it), while she's at work. Our trip to Bellevue, WA, got cancelled, so we're going to Carlsbad for Christmas, where Greg's mother lives. That'll be interesting, as she is a different sort.
