Ella is home

It is with GREAT joy that we send this email out. We weren’t sure the day would ever come, but Ella is now home with us!!! We actually brought her home Wednesday night and for the first time in his life, Ryan drove the speed limit. She loves her new home and enjoyed checking everything out when we got home. Her first two nights were perfect. She woke up when she was supposed to eat and slept, well, she slept pretty much the rest of the time. Ryan and I did pretty well too. We realized that we got most of those first time parent nerves out while Ella was in the hospital. But don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll be doing plenty of freaking out over the next few weeks J I have to say that Ryan is just a natural when it comes to being a dad. Not sure if Ella will EVER hear the word “no” from him. He is just so in love with his little girl, as am I. Well I have to go back to watching her sleep. Ella can’t wait to meet everyone. We look forward to showing her off soon.
