Christmas 2006

We gathered at mom's for Christmas Eve and Ann's for Christmas Day. You'll see the photos below. It was sad to be missing dad and I'm sure we all had moments that were rough. We had an enjoyable time together and laughed until we cried watching old home movies of the grandkids Christmas plays from years gone by. We played cards and games and ate more food than most of us needed. I thought about the things dad would be saying and wondered if he had time to check in with us today or if he is too busy playing softball and dancing in heaven.
