Dad is doing much better. He's back to working long days on the farm. He just can't sit still if he sees work to do. I mentioned this to Judy (his nurse) and she said "isn't it great that he has already put cancer behind him and focused on the present?" She'd prefer he rest a little more and work a little less but we all know how he is. As he says...You can always tell a German....but you can't tell him much.
Thanks to everyone who kept in touch via cards, calls and messages on the blog. I know that your concern helped him along the way. As soon as I can get him to sit still I'll take a picture and post it. He's got a little hair now!!
